Beautifully crafted by Rebel Potions, these 6-inch pillars are made from a paraffin-soy wax blend. These are handmade, color and texture variations exist between batches.
We have tested these ourselves at ObĀ and have found the melting temperature to range between 125-140 depending on candle color and distance from skin.
According to the candlemaker:
"The melting point on this wax is around 125 F, however....this wax feels hot on the skin. Please test how high to drip the wax from before using it, it will obviously burn you if held to close to the skin when dripped. The average test to start with is about 16 inches above the skin, then work your way closer to your partners' sensitivity. The darker color wax is going to feel hotter because it holds the heat in longer. Meaning if you know you're sensitive to candle wax, white or lighter colors are a better choice."
